Come home.
Every week.
A growing online studio for queer and disabled folks who are done fighting for rest. Weekly live flows, monthly guided rest circles, a growing library, and a community that actually sees you. All spoon-rated, all LGBTQ+-centred, all from wherever you are.
Launching August 2025 · Founding rate locked in forever
What's inside.
A membership built around consistency, community, and the radical idea that rest is not something you earn.
Weekly Live Flows
30-minute live neuro-somatic movement sessions on Google Meet. Every session is spoon-rated before it starts — so you know what you're signing up for before you show up. Modifications always offered. Cameras optional. You can just be there.
Monthly Rest Circles
A monthly guided rest practice — the session mainstream wellness always cuts first. Together in community, doing nothing together. Restorative positions, body scans, and the particular kind of safety that comes from resting alongside people who get it.
Growing Resource Library
Every live session is archived here. The mini-series videos live here. New resources added regularly. A library that grows with the community — and is yours to explore at your own pace, on your own time, at whatever spoon level you have today.
Community Space
A place for real dialogue — questions, reflections, and connection with people who understand. Not a content feed you scroll past, but a space where the community actually meets. Ask Kars questions, share what came up in a session, or just show up and read.
The spoon promise.
Every single session in this membership — live or recorded — is rated by spoon level before you show up. No more arriving to something that assumes you have more than you do. You choose based on what your body actually has today, not what you wish it had.
Within each session, modifications are always offered. The spoon rating is a guide, not a gate — you can always do less than the rating suggests.
What a month looks like
Regular, consistent, and always optional — you choose what you show up for.
How it works.
From the taster class to a founding member — here's the full journey in, and what life as a member actually looks like.
Start with the taster
The free 15-minute neck tension class is your first taste of the neuro-somatic approach. No commitment, no card details — just a class to see how it feels.
Join the mini-series
Five videos across every spoon level for £15. Your £15 gets credited toward your first month of membership — so the series pays for itself.
Become a founding member
Join at launch in August at £25/month — forever. Weekly lives, monthly rest, a growing library, and a community that actually sees you.
Show up — or don't
Every session is recorded. Missing a week is never a reason to fall behind — the library holds everything, and the community is there when you're ready.
Choose your spoon level
Every session is rated before it starts. Pick based on what your body actually has today — not what you wish it had. Always the right call.
Stay as long as you need
No minimum term, no guilt about leaving. Cancel anytime. And if you joined as a founding member, that rate is yours for good — it never goes up.
Not a class you perform in.
Cameras are optional. You don't have to look a certain way or move a certain way. You can be on your sofa, in your pyjamas, with your cat on your lap. The live session is a container — you bring whatever version of you shows up that day.
Kars shares the spoon level before you join so you know what to expect. The session starts with a check-in, moves through practice, and ends with some form of rest. Every time.
Built by someone who needed it too.
Kars is trans, queer, and neurodivergent — a massage therapist, yoga teacher, neuro-somatic yoga practitioner, and former dancer who built home care × home body because the space they needed didn't exist yet.
This membership is not content delivered from a distance. It's a community Kars shows up to every week — in real time, alongside you.
Warm, gentle presence — and a massage with them always brings welcome rest to my body, especially my nervous system.
Pricing.
Two rates — founding and standard. The only difference is when you join. Same membership, same community, same Kars.
Join at launch in August 2025. This rate is yours forever — it never goes up, no matter how long you stay. From November, new members pay £35/month.

The membership launches in August 2025. Join the waitlist to be notified first and secure the founding member rate of £25/month — locked in forever.
Every session is recorded and added to the library the same day. You never fall behind — the recording is there whenever you're ready. Missing a session is not a reason to feel guilty; it's just a reason to watch it later.
Absolutely not. Cameras are entirely optional — you can join with your camera off, no name, no explanation needed. You can just be there.
Yes — genuinely. Join as a founding member at £25/month and that rate is yours for as long as you stay. It never goes up. If you cancel and want to rejoin later, you'd rejoin at the standard rate available at that time.
None at all. Sessions are designed for complete beginners as much as experienced movers. The taster class is a good place to start if you want to get a feel for the approach before committing — it's free and takes 15 minutes.
A device with internet access and somewhere comfortable to be. No mat, no props, no special clothing. Blankets and pillows are actively encouraged for rest sessions. The sessions are designed for small flats and difficult days.
This membership was built with you in mind. Every session is spoon-rated in advance. Low spoon sessions can be done lying down with no standing required. Modifications are always offered. If you have specific access needs, reach out to kars@home-body.uk before joining and Kars will respond personally.
Yes — cancel anytime, no minimum commitment, no cancellation fees. Your access continues until the end of your current billing period. No guilt, no hard sell. If you cancel as a founding member and want to rejoin later, you'd rejoin at the standard rate.
The membership is LGBTQ+-centred — built from that perspective, holding that community first. Non-LGBTQ+ people are welcome if the work resonates, with the understanding that this space centres queer and disabled experiences and that framing is not going to change.
