Personalised Massage Therapy in London & Brighton
There's no fixed menu here. Every session is built around you — your body, your nervous system, and what you need that day. Techniques are drawn from a trained skill set and woven together in real time, not applied by rote.
in every session
The treatment.
One treatment, fully personalised. Here's what goes into it — and what to expect when you arrive.
It starts with a real check-in.
Every session begins with a 15-minute grounded consultation — not a form to rush through, but an actual conversation. How you're arriving matters. What's going on in your body, your nervous system, your life right now — all of that shapes what the session needs to be.
We'll talk through your health, comfort preferences, areas to focus on or avoid, and what kind of touch feels safe and good for you. You'll have space to share access needs, sensory preferences, or anything else that helps you relax more fully.
A treatment plan is suggested — and you're invited to adjust it. There is always space for you to change your mind, or ask for other options.
These are the tools in the kit. Which ones are used, how, and in what combination is decided during and after your check-in — based on what your body needs and how you want to feel.
Deep Tissue
Sustained, focused pressure applied to deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue. Works with chronic tension, postural strain, and pain patterns that sit below the surface.
Holistic
Slower, full-body work that treats the person as a whole — not just the presenting symptom. Regulates the nervous system, promotes deep rest, and supports emotional processing.
Trigger Pointing
Precise, sustained pressure applied to specific points in the muscle to release referred pain and tightness. Often addresses pain that seems to come from somewhere other than where it originates.
Lymphatic Drainage
Gentle, rhythmic strokes that support the lymphatic system — the body's natural drainage and immune network. Light touch, deeply effective for swelling, post-operative recovery, and immune support.
You're welcome to wear as much or as little as you'd like. Before your session you'll receive a consultation form with three modesty options as a guide — and if you change your mind when you arrive, that's completely fine.
Complimentary add-ons.
These aren't extras — they're included as standard in every session. Because they should be. Just let Kars know at check-in if you'd prefer any of them off.
Hot Stones
Smooth basalt stones, heated and applied to the body to melt deep tension. The warmth penetrates into the muscle, encouraging release at a level that feels almost effortless and lingers long after the session ends.
Complimentary in every sessionAromatherapy
Guided inhalation with essential oils — to calm and ground. Using warm mitts and face cloths to bring the aroma in a gentle tactile medium.
Complimentary in every sessionASMR
Light touch, sound and tactile play using different spa-inspired tools like brushes, combs, and feathers. If you get the tingles, you'll want to experience this.

Questions.
The things people most often want to know before they book — answered honestly.
Every session begins with a 15-minute grounded check-in — so Kars can understand how you're arriving and what you'd like to get out of the treatment. We'll talk through any changes in your health, your comfort preferences, areas to focus on or avoid, and what kind of touch feels safe and good for you.
A treatment plan is suggested, and you'll have the opportunity to adjust it. Nothing is fixed until you're happy with it. This is also the moment to share access needs, sensory preferences, or anything that might help you relax more fully.
You're welcome to wear as much or as little as you'd like. Before your session you'll receive a consultation form with three modesty options as a guide — and if you change your mind when you arrive, that's completely fine.
- Minimal draping — a modesty towel around the hips, with optional sheet. Ideal if you prefer less draping and more freedom.
- Standard draping — covered with sheet and blanket, only the area being worked on uncovered. You may undress fully or keep underwear on.
- Fully clothed — you remain dressed in comfortable clothing throughout. Techniques are adapted to work effectively through fabric.
First sessions are always given extra time and care. The check-in is longer, the pace is gentler, and nothing is assumed. You don't need to know what you want — part of Kars's job is helping you figure that out.
- Wear comfortable clothing you're happy to be in
- Arrive a few minutes early so you're not rushing
- If you feel nervous, say so — it's completely normal and Kars will work with it
- You can stop, pause, or change anything at any point — no explanation needed
You can speak up, pause, or stop at any point — no explanation needed, ever. Kars checks in actively throughout every session, not just at the start. Pressure, focus areas, and pace are adjusted in real time based on your feedback and body language.
If difficult emotions come up — which can happen, especially for people with complex relationships to their bodies — Kars can redirect the type or area of touch, or guide you through grounding techniques drawn from neuro-somatic and trauma-sensitive mindfulness practice.
Yes — and you're especially welcome here. Kars is neurodivergent themselves and understands the particular relationship many ND people have with their bodies, sensory input, and environments that feel safe.
- Sensory preferences are discussed and respected at check-in — ASMR, aromatherapy, temperature, lighting
- Masking is not required — you don't need to manage how you come across
- Verbal check-ins are built in, and body language is monitored throughout
- The pace of the session can be adjusted — including longer transitions and more time to settle
Bodywork can bring up unexpected emotions — especially for people who carry a lot in their bodies or have complex histories with physical touch. This is normal and never something to be embarrassed about.
- Boundaries — discussed openly before and during the session
- Choice — you remain in control of pressure, areas, and pace throughout
- Check-ins — verbal check-ins at the start and midpoint, plus ongoing body language awareness
- Grounding — if distressing emotions arise, Kars can redirect touch or guide you through grounding techniques
Yes — both are available as complimentary add-ons to any session. Kars holds an ITEC Level 3 qualification in pre and post natal massage and has experience supporting clients through surgical journeys.
For pregnancy: available throughout all trimesters, with adapted positioning and focused areas depending on your stage and needs.
For pre/post operative: gentle, informed support to prepare the body before surgery or support recovery after — including lymphatic drainage to reduce swelling and ease scar tissue formation.
Yes. All equipment and linens are thoroughly cleaned and sanitised between every client. Fresh towels and sheets are used for each session, and any reusable tools — including hot stones — are disinfected according to professional hygiene standards.
The treatment itself is identical — same check-in, same techniques, same complimentary add-ons. The difference is location and who travels.
- Studio — you come to Bethnal Green or Brighton. Dedicated treatment space, consistent environment.
- Home visit — Kars comes to you anywhere across Greater London. All equipment included. You just need a clear space of around 2m × 3m. Travel fee of £10 applies for PAYG, included free in home visit memberships.
Mobile treatments are available across Greater London — approximately 60 minutes by public transport from South London. This covers most of the city including Croydon, Brixton, Peckham, Lewisham, Hackney, Bethnal Green, Islington, Clapham, Tooting, Streatham, Greenwich, and more.
