Why neuro-somatics? How it works differently...
Most approaches to neck tension treat the muscles as the problem. Neuro-somatic includes the nervous system as the starting point — because tension is often your body's protective response to stress.
Informed by the cranial nerves and body-brain connection, neuro-somatic practices help the nervous system resource and increase it's capacity — which makes it easier for your body to process stimulus, stress and pain AND flow between state of regulation with increased ease.
This class is for you.
It was built for bodies that mainstream wellness keeps forgetting — and for anyone who needs something that actually meets them where they are.
Warm, gentle presence — and a massage with them always brings welcome rest to my body, especially my nervous system.
Made by Kars Dodds (they/he)
